Meet Albert
Albert Mack is a lifelong Nevadan, entrepreneur, and community leader running for Clark County Commission. As Chief Executive Officer of TBD Group, a private equity firm that invests in mid-size businesses across hospitality, technology, marketing, and manufacturing, Albert has helped create hundreds of jobs. He knows what it means to hire and promote people from within, and he understands the tough calls that come with leading and growing businesses—experience that sets him apart from career politicians who have never built or managed a payroll.
Albert’s family has deep roots in Las Vegas. His grandfather, Jerome Mack, was a banker, real estate investor, and philanthropist who helped shape the Strip, co-founded Valley Bank of Nevada, and drove the growth of UNLV. In recognition of his impact, the university named the Thomas & Mack Center in his honor. Inspired by that legacy, Albert has built his own career around hard work, innovation, and service to Nevada families.
After earning a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University, Albert began his career in real estate development before joining Wynn & Encore Las Vegas. He worked across nearly every area of operations before focusing on food & beverage and casino management. After gaining that hands-on experience, Albert chose to pursue his own entrepreneurial path, building businesses that grew into what is now TBD Group.
Albert has also been deeply engaged in community service. He served on Metro’s Use of Force Review Board, a citizen panel that reviews police incidents and provides accountability and transparency between law enforcement and the public. In addition, he has supported organizations including Opportunity Village, Grant a Gift Autism Foundation, Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, Three Square, Goodie Two Shoes, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada, the Raiders Foundation, SafeNest, HELP of Southern Nevada, the October 1 Memorial Fund, UNLV, and the UNLV Business School. His work with these groups reflects a simple belief: strong communities are built on compassion, service, and opportunity.
Albert lives in Las Vegas with his fiancée, Lauren, and their four children. His priorities are straightforward: stronger neighborhoods, smarter growth, safer communities, and a Clark County where families and businesses can thrive.
